SUMMER CONCERT SERIES RETURNS TO THE WJ BACKSTREET PARK The 2026 West Jefferson Community Partnership Summer Concert Series kicks off Friday, May 22, from 5:30-7 pm with the good old toe-tappin’ mountain music of the Rock Bottom Bluegrass Band, a unique blend of Traditional Progressive Bluegrass and Bluegrass Gospel tunes.The 2026 Summer Concert Series is in its 15th year of providing music from several genres, sharing a little something for everyone. All concerts are free and open to the public. Bring a blanket or lawn chair! (In the event of rain, concerts will be held at the Farmers Market.) COMING UP SATURDAY, MAY 16 — Happy Trails Cowboy Church Horsepower, and Holy Spirit Car Show at 1489 Mount Jefferson Road, West Jefferson, North Carolina.
